How to Play Ship Run

Ship Run is a free Geometry Dash online fan game all about GD ship mode. It runs in your browser on a PC, Mac, Chromebook, phone or tablet, with nothing to download and no login.

Geometry Dash ship mode controls

Space, Up arrow, mouse or finger

Hold to fly up. Let go to fall.

Esc

Pause the game.

The ship tilts toward where it is going. Landing on a block or the floor is safe, but flying into the side of a block, a spike, a saw or a thorn pit ends the attempt.

Game modes: random runs and practice mode

• Play starts a random run: 5 levels picked at random and played back to back. Crash once and a new run starts with new levels.
• Practice lets you pick one level and play it on its own. Crashing restarts just that level.

Portals, pads, orbs and user coins

• Speed portals change how fast you move: half, normal, double, triple and quad speed.
• Gravity portals flip gravity upside down, or put it back to normal.
• Size portals make the ship mini (smaller and quicker to react) or big again.
• Teleport portals move you straight to their exit.
• Pads launch the ship as soon as you touch them.
• Orbs launch the ship when you press while touching them.
• User coins count once you touch them and then reach the end of their level without crashing.

Some spikes fade away as you get close, and some blocks are invisible, so watch out.

The level editor: make your own Geometry Dash levels online

Open Settings on the main menu and turn on Dev Mode. An Editor button appears on the menu. The editor works like the Geometry Dash editor:

• Create, Edit and Delete tabs, swipe selection, rotate, flip, free move and snap.
• Editor layers: switch layers with the pink arrows, go back to all layers with the blue arrow, and click the layer number to lock a layer.
• Edit Group: editor layers, Z order, Z layers, group IDs and extra options like Hide and No Touch.
• Edit Object: color channels, HSV and copying colors between objects.
• Color and alpha triggers, a test button that plays from the start or from where you are, and saving your levels.
